Board member since: May 2018 Danie runs her own younique make up business from home, she has two amazing and crazy children Dakota and Hunter, she has been a resident in La Vernia for 20 years, graduate from La Vernia ISD, and helps in her community as much as possible.  She enjoys spending time with her family especially if it involves going to Landa Park in New Braunfels and if she gets alone time she spends it at Target or Starbucks. Danie’s  “why” for joining the LV Grizzlies family: “I am a huge yellow personality (meaning I love helping when someone asks me for help). I also absolutely love children and I have always wanted a way to give back to the children in the community, help them create wonderful memories that will last a lifetime,  and Grizzlies just felt right.  I coached for the Grizzlies 2 years ago and enjoyed every minute of it. There is just something about the Grizzlies that really makes me honored to be apart of it. This organization has been there for my family so much, so when I was asked to be on the board it was honestly a no brainer for me.  I cannot wait for many more seasons being apart of this great organization.”

She's been a part of the LV community since 2004 with ties going back to the early 1990's. She has strong convictions and places her priorities on God, Family and Community. In that order.
Donna's why for joining the Grizzlies:
My family has a long history with the Grizzlies. So this makes the organization close to my heart. 6 years ago when my kids became involved with the Grizzlies it was a God send. The Grizzlies coaches welcomed them with open arms. They have had great role models in the coaches and volunteers. So, I became a part using the gifts God gave me to treasure for this amazing organization.
My love and concern for the education, safety and well being of these kids and this community is my #1 priority in serving on this board.
Lets make this the best season ever!!!
GO GRIZZLIES GO!!!!

Tiffany has been a resident of La Vernia for close to 20 years, cheered for LVISD all through High School, and is also a graduate of LVISD. She enjoys going out to the dirt tracks with her fiancé to watch him race, she loves spending time with her family,  and likes to help organize or plan events/parties.  Tiffany’s  “why” for joining the LV Grizzlies family:  “ I have a huge spot in my heart for Grizzlies. I cheered for them for most of my childhood, I have so many memories on that field, going to competition, making friends, and had so many amazing coaches.  I love children and I want to be able to be apart of the kids now creating the same amazing memories I have with Grizzlies.  I was able to coach cheer 2 seasons ago with this organization and knew that being with the kids was my calling, so when I was asked by Danie to come on the board I was so excited to be able to come back. The Grizzlies are an amazing organization, I’m so happy to be apart of it again.  I’m here to put the kids first in everything I do and can’t wait for an amazing season”

Patrick Martinez

Assistant Maintenance Director

Patrick works full time for the oilfield, he has two children Dakota and Hunter, he was raised in Stockdale Texas and graduated from Stockdale ISD in 2006,  he has now been a resident of La Vernia for 7 years, and has enjoyed being apart of the community.  Patrick is a big family man and spends all his time with them, but enjoys being able to go outside and work on his yard when he gets time to himself.
Patricks “why” for joining the LV Grizzlies family:
“My children have been apart of this organization and have grown so much in it.  I figured it was time for me to give back somehow to something that has impacted my children in such a positive way.  When I found out they were looking for another field maintenance director I knew that position was for me, I love to go outside and work with my hands as much as I can.  I am really big on keeping up with something, these kids deserve a great field to play ball and cheer on, and isn’t that why you join an organization like this for the kids?  I will do almost anything for a child to have something great, so Grizzlies was the perfect place to be able to give that.”

Justin Armstrong

Baseball Director

Has been involved in coaching his kids since they started playing sports. He has a passion for coaching baseball and softball. Last year he coached our boys 12U team for the Grizzlies and helped out with his daughters 14U softball team as well as his youngest son's T-Ball team. I think we can all agree Justin has the passion, experience, skills and desire it takes to fill this position.

Justin's why for joining the Grizzlies:
We have played baseball and softball with CYO and LVLL in years past. Last year we decided to give the Grizzlies a try. My experience with them gave me a desire to see this organization take off and grow to be another option for the kids in our community and surrounding areas. I look forward to serving on the board and hope to grow the baseball/softball aspect of the organization.
