LISA KIRLEY

Lisa and her family moved to La Vernia in the Summer of 2021 from the North TX area. She and her husband John have 5 children combined and many grandchildren. They discovered the Grizzlies looking for adventure with their youngest, Jaxson and they have sure found it. When not at the football field, which is not often Lisa can be found reading a book or relaxing with family.

Lance was born and raised in La Vernia. Lance and his beautiful wife Chelsea have 2 handsome sons, Wyatt and Walker, and a beautiful daughter, Laurel. His oldest, Wyatt, will play for the Tykes team. This will be Lances third year with the Grizzlies. He served last season as Head Coach for Flag Football. When not working and Coaching he loves to BBQ and be outdoors.
Amanda Boitz

Amanda grew up in Princeton, Minnesota, and joined the United States Air Force straight out of high school. She met her husband, Chris, during their tour in Alaska in 2010. Now, Amanda and her family proudly call La Vernia home. Together, they have two wonderful children: Evelynn, who cheered on the Juniors Cheerleading Squad last season, and Morgan, who plays on the Rookies Football team. When she’s not cheering on the Grizzlies, Amanda loves relaxing by the pool and creating fun projects with her Cricut machine.

John was not born in La Vernia but when he and his wife Lisa were researching areas to move their family to, La Vernia won, hands down. John and Lisa have 5 children combined/together with the youngest 2 still at home. Jaxson, their youngest is on the Rookies this season and loves to play on the line and tackle. Keep your eyes open because he is determined to play for the Dallas Cowboys one day!. Johns passions in life are his family and SPORTS, most any sport and he is proud to be involved with the Grizzlies.

Lilah was born and raised in Alaska. She moved to Saint Hedwig last year with her husband, an active duty military serviceman, and their children, Zoe (11) and Gabe (4). Last year, she served as the assistant coach for the juniors cheer team and is excited to see how the cheer teams grow this year.

Grant lives locally in La Vernia, with his wife Kelsey and their triplets Chase, Cooper, and Karlie. When Grant is not working he enjoys spending all his time with his family and the Grizzlies (his words, not ours).

Tania and her husband have lived in La Vernia for the last 7 years. She was born and raised on the Southside of SA. This will be her third year with the Grizzlies. Her son Bentley will play for the Tykes Football team and her daughter Summer in cheer! She is a local Realtor.

Chris hails from Willow, Alaska, and has called the San Antonio area home for the past seven years. After 20 years of dedicated service in the United States Air Force, he and his family now proudly reside in La Vernia. Chris and Amanda have two wonderful children: Evelynn, who cheered on the Juniors Cheerleading Squad last season, and Morgan, who plays on the Rookies Football team. When he’s not supporting the Grizzlies, Chris loves spending quality time with his family and capturing moments through photography.

Victoria has proudly called La Vernia home for the past four years. A dedicated mom to two Grizzlies players, Beau and Colton, she’s often found cheering from the sidelines or spending time at the barn with her beloved rescue horses. With a strong passion for community and connection, Victoria brings energy and heart to her role as Director of Sponsorships. She’s excited to build lasting partnerships that help support the Grizzlies and make this season one to remember.
